Terms and Conditions

  By booking services with Stratus Drone, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services

Stratus Drone provides aerial photography, videography, and related drone services for real estate, land appraisal, inspections, and other approved projects. All services are performed in accordance with FAA regulations and applicable laws.

2. FAA Compliance & Flight Restrictions

All flights are subject to weather conditions, airspace restrictions, and FAA approval. Stratus Drone reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel a flight if conditions are unsafe or noncompliant with FAA regulations. No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to restricted airspace or unsafe conditions beyond our control.

3. Scheduling & Access

Clients are responsible for ensuring property access and obtaining any required permissions prior to the scheduled flight. Delays caused by lack of access or incomplete information may result in rescheduling fees.

4. Payments

Payment terms will be agreed upon prior to service. Final deliverables may be withheld until payment is received in full unless otherwise stated in writing.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service may receive back half the charge.

  • Rescheduling due to weather or FAA restrictions will be accommodated when possible at no additional charge.

6. Deliverables & Turnaround

Turnaround times are estimates and may vary depending on project scope, weather delays, or client revisions. Stratus Drone is not responsible for delays caused by factors outside its control.

7. Usage Rights & Licensing

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Clients are granted a non-exclusive license to use delivered media for marketing, listing, and promotional purposes.

  • Stratus Drone retains the right to use completed work for portfolio, website, and promotional use.

Raw footage is not included unless explicitly stated in the service agreement.

8. Revisions

Minor revisions may be included depending on the package selected. Additional revisions or changes outside the original scope may incur additional fees.

9. Liability

Stratus Drone will take all reasonable precautions to operate safely and professionally. Liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. Stratus Drone is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Client Responsibilities

Clients confirm that they have the legal right to request drone services at the specified location and that no laws, HOA rules, or property rights are being violated.

11. Acceptance

By booking or using Stratus Drone services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
